⚡️ National Storytelling Week may well have been created to support literacy development and enthusiasm in educational settings, but every business has a story to tell too! Storytelling is a vital component of the marketing mix. Don’t be put off if you think the term ‘storytelling’ has become a throwaway marketing jargon term - its fundamentals are invaluable.
In 2021, National Storytelling Week falls from 30 January to 6 February (Saturday to Saturday). Over on my Instagram I’m running a Social Media for Business Storytelling Challenge throughout the week to help businesses find their feet and build their confidence telling stories.
Each day I’m encouraging you to tell a story from a different part of your business. I’ll be joining in too! It’s a great way to surface some of the most inherent details of what you do and why you do it - all the stuff we take as given in our day to day working lives and which are all too easy to forget or assume others know or will find elsewhere.
